5. The President reported to the Commission that he had received since their last meeting two letters from Mr. Outrobus, dated 4th and 6th March, 1856, the latter being in reply to one from the President of the 5th instant, written by him in answer to the first.

6. He also reported that he had not received any communication whatever from Mr. Pereira, who however was not in attendance any more than Mr. Outrobus; although this day had been specially fixed by arrangement with them, and to suit their convenience, and the day of their examination on behalf of those Marine Lot Holders who had rejected the proposals.
